It’s we who will decide what is needed for us and for our future. Ensure you have enough freedom and don’t let any one dictate what to use to read your own documents.

The Candle light vigil demands India to appeal ISO approval of ooxml based on its comments and no vote. We also demands the Department of IT to draft a clear national policy for the use of Free standards for data storage.

This programme is planned as a starting point for various events & awareness campaigns on Document freedom.

As planned earlier we met exactly at 3 Pm in Bugle Rock Park, Basavanagudi. We discussed various aspects of the event. Lots of points were pointed out by each volunteer.  It was really a nice brain storming session for cross check our readiness for the event.  Updates and minutes of meeting will be made available on Wiki for further reference and collaboration.
