It always amazes me how last few minutes of the game changes the expressions on every ones face. Let it be Indian Premier League or Election poll results after effects are same.

Last week by chance I hooked into S-MAX while flipping through various channels. I found that there were 6 balls to hit 7 runs.I thought let me see what really happens. Both the teams were playing pretty good, target was not that big it was around 174, still making some one struggle these runs is also difficult. Anyways, I kept watching the match. In first two balls the batsman took singles, then a no run. I thought ok, these guys are going to loose the match. But no, there was again another run and then a four to end the match. Wow. That was great! I really enjoyed the last few minutes of the match. You can imagine what might have happened to the supporters or even team members of loosing team. They walked back slowly to the pavilion, when the other team celebrated the moment which they deserved.

Same thing happened with Karnataka poll’s. Many well known big shots in politics failed to win. BJP won the elections surprisingly. For the first time in south India, BJP is in a situation to form the government to rule a state.The other side there were clips of big shots pale faces.

Just few minutes change the way we react to things isn’t it. Is this is called as the “Power of Now“?
