An another bunch of techs were trained on Gnu/Linux for couple of weeks. From scratch just like the previous batch which I had mentioned earlier in previous blog post. Practice classes to feel the Gnu/Linux and nothing more.

Classes gave them a peep in session for knowing what is Gnu/Linux. It also helped them to carefully listen to the heartbeat of the OS.

I always liked to see what they want as fresh graduates in their classrooms/training. Lots of notes, theory periods, printed material to learn the subject. Just like any other college going kids.

One thing that I didn’t like this time with this batch is that,  I didn’t feel the urge to know more about technology, or may be they are still there in the college. To master your self with the basics of any technology you need to have the zeal to explore things. You got to use the guides which are right in front of you. At times you just need to push yourself to the next mile to hit the target. I think they are just taking little bit longer to get used to their first job. I’m just being patient and watching what they do as they are really very silent in class room. May be they are trying to show off their “hidden” talent during the next round of interviews and tests.

One thing is true, they all are smart ;)
