Ritisha Padmanabh - Support this talent while she performs on Star Plus. Her voice is amazing.

An another song

I found the following lines on Rajahasan’s blog.

The only fear i have in mind is that she is from Karnataka and that is South India and I dont know how much support she will get from her people. We have seen in earlier reality shows that contestents from South India gets eliminated due to non participation from the people of there places.Let us hope that with a spate of reality shows these years things might change around this time and Rithisha gets full support from the people of her state and we as music lovers should also support good talent.

This was even pointed out by Kalpana on Sampada that is one more reason for me to put this on my blog. She also gave other examples where in south indian talents were not encouraged much by people and they were dropped out of the contest as they couldn’t get votes.  Thanks a ton Kalpana for pointing it out on a Kannada blog. I never get to watch TV shows that much. But these type of programs do encourage young generation across the country. We have to represent our states and Nation in all levels. I’m very happy to see a contestant from my state.  All the best for your future performances Ritisha.

Government orders IT/BT/BPO sectors to declare holiday for all the employees on 15th August as a part of “Independence day” celebrations.  They even threaten to take action if they won’t do so. Isn’t it a foolishness?

For those who don’t think there is any foolishness, here I have my voice (Free speech as in FREEDOM) :

  • Its my country’s Independence day and I should not be sitting jobless. I should be working on Independence day to add more value to my country’s economy.
  • Inflation rate is growing every day. If we don’t work across the country for a day, we are at loss of millions of rupees. This money can bring in prosperity to my country and we can plan to bring down the inflation rate too.
  • Why target a sector when you can’t think of closing everything down?
  • Why leaves are being dictated? Don’t we who work in IT sectors have a freedom of choice to use the leaves as and when we require?
  • Building country is a mission critical operation. We need discipline followed by the armed forces to make the millions of Indians dreams come true. It does not require a day off to prepare ourself for the next year of independence.
  • There was not a single “DAY OFF” when our freedom fighters fought for our nation’s Independence. Then why TAKE OFF?
  • If there is a bomb in a corner of the road, entire state gives off for its schools and colleges its precautionary measure. Why off on a national day like “INDEPENDENCE DAY”? Is there any reason?
  • Why don’t you all call it a nationwide bhand (”राष्ट्रव्यापी बंद्”) if you want companies to call off even when there are people who think they want to work on such days to add a new value for the celebrations?
  • Is there any of your bureaucratic policy which stops a citizen of India stop from working on Independence day? Hope I don’t have a policy to breath.

I have lot many more questions like these. Why these questions won’t come in mind of those who are writing “RULES” for leading our nation? Are you lazy to sit at home instead of building the nation?
