It’s hard to find Kannada ad’s on Multiplexes and other new trendy Shopping mall’s in Bangalore. It might be mainly because Kannadiga’s are being more conservative on the technique which they use for their business (Many businesses run because of word of mouth which I can list) like FM Radio station advertisements etc. But couple of months back when I visited a Fun cinema which is a multiplex in Sigma Mall on Cunningham Road, I found something interesting. I found an “Ad” in Kannada news paper “Prajavani“. Its a nice idea to take Kannada to people instead forcing people to use it. For example, many shopping malls play Kannada songs today as there have been many hit songs released in recent years being hummed even from the outsiders.

Anweshane - In search of our identity is one of my old article which described of a Radio program which talked more about Kannada. If you had got a chance to listen to that, do share your views.

Kannada version of this post can be found here.
