Country celebrates birthday of Mahatma Gandhi today. Our so called “Bapu” and his values, ahimsa, bhajan etc are remembered once again as a part of celebration. I got to find some creative writing about him today on the Internet.
Its very sad to see that lots of issues all over India and we could see only “Himsa (Terror)”, riots and it doesn’t looks like many care about the importance of the day. Government has banned “Smoking” in all public places as a part of the celebration. But in Karnataka, officials are not found to be keen enough to enforce the same.
Looks like the entire world is waiting for an another Gandhi in this 21st century to bring in peace.
