Do you know why do we Indian celebrate Deepwali? There are many religions in India but we celebrate Deepawali for different reasons. For the victory of the Good over the evil, for peace.

On this auspicious read this mantra from (Bṛhadāraṇyaka Upaniṣad 1.3.28)

Aum Asato mā sad gamaya
Tamaso mā jyotir gamaya
Mṛtyormā amṛtam gamaya
Aum śānti śānti śāntiḥ

Which means,

From ignorance, lead me to truth;
From darkness, lead me to light;
From death, lead me to immortality
Aum peace, peace, peace

Try to throw some light on life and the truthfulness which is really missing on this earth. Try to find some peace which you might erode by cracking the crackers.  May god give you all happiness in life. Happy Deepawali.
