Yesterday scientists were able to carry out orbit raising maneuver of the chandrayaan-1 space craft successfully by burning 440 Newton liquid engine for about two and a half minutes to enter the Lunar Transfer Trajectory with an apogee (farthest point to Earth) of about 380,000 km. With this we reach the fifth and final orbit of Chandrayaan-1 Mission.
