It was faily quick to install Windows7 on VirtualBox after mounting the ISO directly instead of using DVD. I was not expecting to be able to work with Windows7 on VirtualBox but it took me by surprise as it’s better than Vista and not sluggish at all. On top of it, even the latest beta release as got 3 updates available for download as soon as you’re done with the Installation which doesn’t require a reboot (Thank god!). There seem to be 7 differences with this release through which Microsoft is trying hard to win back the consumer confidence lost along with its Vista release.

I’m a little puzzled by this post. At one point you stated “…There seem to be 7 differences with this release through…” although you only make reference to 2– ‘IE8′ and ‘password for home group networking’ . I would like you to expound on what you think the other 5 “differences” are? However I don’t think IE8 would be a differentiation from any other Win OS since it is an app that can be used with nearly any OS, so I think you still owe us 6!
I too have just recently installed Win7 on VirtualBox (thanks to the two tech guys article! http://twoguystech.com/blog/art/installing-windows-7-beta-suns-virtualbox#comment-878) and have not really explored it much be at first glance it seems to be much more stable and robust than Vista ever was…
