Neo, are you frustrated with lots of bugs while you live in Matrix? Learn to leave away from “Blue Screen Of Death“.
My friend Neo shares this video created by MouzerMalti — (Imagine a future in which the reality perceived by humans is not the Matrix but what frustrated PC users deal with every day.) Thanks dude.

hi om. I have windows vista, i am addicted to it.
that blue screen of death is history now.
correct me if i am wrong.
sanganagouda:
I wish I could say you’re right but… wait, I don’t wish I could say you’re right. You’re wrong!
Nah but seriously, lots of reports of BSoD on Vista. And purple ones. And red ones in the early days (Longhorn).
Been using Ubuntu now since Edgy Eft which is (can’t believe how time flies) about 3 years now. Haven’t experienced a crash since like early 2007.
Shivu, one of the funniest clips… I couldn’t stop laughing
BTW, Sanganagouda, I guess the frequency of BSoD in Vista depends on how you use the system (It may be nil for you and many many times for somebody, per day depending on what all tasks you will be running. But, the old evil still exists!!).
# of BSODs I’ve seen this century: 2, on a machine that was hitting its heat barrier
# of kernel panics I’ve had on Ubuntu since July: I’ve lost count…9 months * 30 days = 270 * (5/7 days of the week) = 193-ish?
Sorry…Ubuntu majorly fails on stability for my laptop.
Oh, 5/7 is because it happens *almost* every day, but occasionally I’ll get > 24hr uptime.
Mackenzie, I have been running Ubuntu for numbers of years now. On tens of systems. So far no issues. All this depends on how often you keep your kernel upgraded and whether you choose a right, stable version or not.
Also note one more thing, “Upgrading just for the sake of having a newer versions is probably silly.”
I liked Ubuntu 8.04 which gave better uptime, stability etc than 8.10. Ubuntu Jaunty beta has been promising for months now. Waiting for its final release..
I ran Hardy from July through December. It was a “stable release” that entire time. And the hardware was bought with Ubuntu pre-installed. And I do updates just about every day. And I filed a bug in October.
Now I’m on Jaunty. I’m used to daily kernel panics by this point, and I usually start running devel versions around alpha 3 (this time I started at alpha 2), so meh. I think the frequency of kernel panics is declining. Maybe only 3 panics per week for the last few weeks?
