Friends,

It is time for me to organize my ” LinuxaayaNa |( ಲಿನಕ್ಸಾಯಣ )” project-  a series of articles on Gnu/Linux in Kannada for kannadiga’s here in Karnataka.  Through this project I’m trying to help people understand technology in simple words and in turn trying to bridge the digital gap as much as possible.

I am in process of  compiling and reviewing the articles to make them better.  Mean while I continue to write lot more new articles on  Gnu/Linux and Free Software.

I’m looking for some help on beautifying the logo for this project. I just tried creating one few minutes back and I have added it here for your reference. See if you can come out with something better for me.

Hey, sure If I like your logo I shall treat you for that :) promise!

Condition:- Please use Free Software

If you have already gone through my LinuxaayaNa articles, please don’t forget to leave a feedback/suggestions etc. They are very much valuable.

Link to the project: It’s on my sampada.net blog. Link will be made available as soon as the website becomes accessible.

I’m also putting up a small archive on http://linuxaayana.net shortly.

Somehow I did not like the logo. ನಕ್ಸಾಯಣ appeared to mimic with ನಕ್ಸಲ್ or ನಕ್ಸಲಾಯಣ :) .

    Rgds,
    Pavanaja

I liked the Logo. It is appropriate. If too much complex symbols are used, you have to devote a whole chapter to explain it :)

If you make the Logo appear at least half the page on Cover, it would be more meaningful. Colour of the logo can be changed. You can go for the colour they use in Linux.

The logo looks decent enough. I guess no change is required.

Thank you for the responses :)
