Life saver from Comment Relish

Platonic went down early this morning due to a response which I gave for a comment received on the post “IE on Linux”. It was shouting out something like this :

The e-mail could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function…

It was bit panicking as I had not done any changes to the server settings for a while now and things have been working pretty well. I just googled around and found a wonderful thread at Ebestagent.com which can be found here.

The culprit was found to be Comment Relish plugin which I was found to be very useful for responding to comments on my blog.

Going out for a while. It would be great to hack why Comment Relish hickup caused the downtime on many blogs. I might write to the creator of this plugin to find an answer. Platonic, the journey continues…
