It’s well known that cpanel is not free of bugs or unnoticed issues from distro to distro. I had mentioned this already in my previous posts.
Here comes an another issue where in Easy apcahe fails to work due to yum dependency issues. I also found that Cpanel has documented these issues already. You could see some of them here.
This page was pointed out while I looked into the errors reported by easyapache as follows:

Good going cPanel. To resolve the above issue, I had to manually install some of the dependencies mentioned in error as we exclude the upgrades of kernel and other package upgrades on cPanel servers.
