Gmail/Yahoo won’t work at times. Oh yeah… they say its available only for 99.9% even for their paid customers. So, you can surely expect some amount of downtime. Now, I have started feeling it with Twitter too (at times 
).
Twitter client Gwibber is also experiencing issues. As per one of the twitter update I found that, there has been slight change in twitter API that might have caused the issue. Check out “Bug in Gwibber” reported on launchpad. So, I have stopped using gwibber for a while now.
Between, I’m quite happy with the performance of the new version of tweetdeck twitter client. It’s fast, lets me group the twitter posts based on my friends list etc.It’s easy to install Adobe Air, required for installing tweetdeck on Ubuntu.
